Yay!
In good mood today. Guess wat?
I finally did my reservist ippt . The last time i did ippt was 3-4 years back and since then never
had a good chance to train myself.
I actually did prepare by jogging last tues and wed to prepare for this morning's ippt.
The venue was at bedok police HQ and the run was conducted at ECP.
My results was a surprise as i had taken my pre-2.4km run timing which was 10.31min and
this timing was way beyond my average when i used to clock sub 8-9 mins for the 2.4km.
And today's results jus show tat i can get back my fitness if i continue jogging every week. Why?
I shaved off almost 80 seconds of the 10.31min timing tat was taken last wed.
My results:
Sit-ups: 43 in one minute (used to do >90 when i was in dragon boat)
Standing board jump: 246cm( a new personal best as previous was 235cm)
Pull-up: 12( decided to do the minimum for this as wanna rest for shuttle run)
Shuttle run: 9.4sec( almost equal to my personal best of 9.3sec)
and last,
2.4km run: 9 min 11 seconds (my best was 8min 36seconds taken during NS)
So, calculating all the points and i had a perfect score of 25 points with A grades for all stations.
This was the first time tat i had scored perfect marks for a Gold grade.
Not bad and easy money to get my $400 . .. HAHAHA!
After the IPPT, i went back to school to return Justin's stuffs before having my free NKF
checkup. The checkup revealed i'm healthy overall but need to be careful not to be too stressed
up. My blood pressure is rather high for a normal range: It was in the prehypertension range
but thank God the NKF ppl told me tat the range was still in a safe range. So, i jus need to be
careful not to lose my temper/anger easily. Keep cool! heh...
Wat a day!
